GUEST FAQ & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Welcome to Blue X Ocean Adventures. This guide answers common questions about reservations, participation, safety, weather, check-in, equipment, and guest responsibilities. Destination- and activity-specific requirements may differ, so guests should always review the information shown for the experience they select.
Experiences may include Jet Car, Jet Ski/personal watercraft, guided marine activities, passenger experiences, VIP packages, group or celebration experiences, photography/video options, and other ocean-based activities identified on the applicable destination page.
Select your destination and preferred experience, then submit the requested date/time, party size, and contact information through the Blue X website. You may also contact the reservations team through an approved phone, email, or WhatsApp channel.
A reservation is confirmed only when Blue X Ocean Adventures or its authorized booking system sends an express confirmation identifying the applicable experience, destination, date/time, and other material details. A request form or automated receipt acknowledgment by itself is not a final confirmation.
Yes. Age, operator, passenger, identification, boating-education, licensing/credential, and supervision requirements depend on the activity, destination, equipment, insurer, and applicable law. Blue X will communicate the verified requirements for the specific experience. Signing a waiver does not override an eligibility rule.
Adult operators may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification and any boating-safety certificate, temporary certificate, license, credential, or other document required for the selected activity and destination. The booking confirmation will identify known required documents.
Arrive by the check-in time stated in your confirmation. This may be earlier than the activity departure time so there is enough time for identification, waivers, eligibility checks, safety briefing, equipment fitting, and boarding. Late-arrival rules are explained in the Blue X Late Arrival & No-Show Policy.
Yes. Every participant must complete the required safety briefing before participating. The briefing may cover equipment controls, emergency shutdown, safe distance, operating boundaries, speed restrictions, passenger behavior, weather response, and return procedures.
Yes, whenever required by the activity, destination, law, insurer, manufacturer, or operating team. Required personal flotation devices and other safety equipment must remain properly worn or used as instructed.
Swimming requirements vary by activity. Some activities may allow participation by a non-swimmer when appropriate safety equipment and operating conditions permit, while others may require swimming ability. Tell Blue X during the reservation or check-in process if you cannot swim or have significant discomfort in or around water.
Some high-speed, high-impact, or wave-exposed activities may not be appropriate during pregnancy or for certain medical or physical conditions. Guests should review the Medical / Fitness-to-Participate Declaration and disclose any relevant limitation or accommodation need before participation. Blue X staff do not provide medical diagnoses or clearance.
A guest may not operate marine equipment while impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, or medication/substances that materially affect judgment, coordination, balance, alertness, or reaction time. Blue X may refuse operation when there is a reasonable safety concern.
Blue X monitors weather and marine conditions and may delay, relocate, modify, reschedule, shorten, or cancel an activity when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for lawful operation. Light rain or clouds do not automatically require cancellation. See the Weather & Marine Conditions Policy for details.
Confirmed reservations are subject to the Blue X Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy and any destination- or promotion-specific terms shown before payment. Guests should review those terms before completing a paid booking.
Blue X will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a late guest when safe and operationally practical, but a late arrival may result in a shortened experience, rescheduling, missed departure, or no-show treatment. See the Late Arrival & No-Show Policy.
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the water and weather. Depending on the activity, consider swimwear, sun protection, secure footwear where recommended, and minimal personal belongings. Bring required identification and any activity-specific credential listed in your confirmation.
Marine activities expose personal items to water, impact, loss, and theft. Bring only what you reasonably need and use secure storage when available. Blue X does not recommend taking unsecured valuables onto the water.
Guests may be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for reasonable documented damage caused by intentional misconduct, prohibited use, unauthorized operation, or failure to follow material operating instructions. Guests are not automatically responsible for normal wear, pre-existing damage, or mechanical failure not caused by the guest. See the Damage & Equipment Responsibility Agreement.
Only an authorized and eligible operator who has completed the required documentation and safety instruction may operate assigned equipment. Do not exchange operators without approval from authorized staff.
Minor participation depends on the activity, age, destination, equipment, insurer, and applicable law. Parent or legal-guardian authorization may be required. A minor may be eligible as a passenger but not as an operator, depending on the applicable rules.
Blue X may offer photography or video services. Promotional use of identifiable guest media is handled through the separate Photo & Video Release. Choosing not to grant promotional media permission should not, by itself, prevent an otherwise eligible guest from participating.
Yes, Blue X may accept referrals or booking requests from approved hotels, resorts, concierge teams, travel professionals, and other partners. Final availability, eligibility, price, and confirmation remain subject to Blue X reservation procedures.
Blue X may provide an official WhatsApp number for reservations and customer service. Do not send highly sensitive financial, medical, passport, or identification information through WhatsApp unless Blue X specifically directs you to an approved secure process.
Blue X handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Reservation requests may be stored in the approved CRM/reservation system and used for customer service, reservation processing, safety, operations, analytics, and permitted marketing purposes.
Authorized Blue X operations personnel, guides, captains, instructors, marina or port personnel, and applicable authorities may make or influence operational safety decisions. Guests must follow instructions to stop, slow down, relocate, or return when directed.
Yes, when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, equipment protection, suspected impairment, ineligibility, weather, repeated failure to follow instructions, or other legitimate operational reasons. Any booking consequence will be handled under the applicable policy and law.
