CANCELLATION, REFUND & RESCHEDULING POLICY

1. Purpose

This policy explains the cancellation, refund, rescheduling, weather, late-arrival, and no-show rules that apply to confirmed Blue X Ocean Adventures reservations. Destination-specific or promotional terms shown at checkout may supplement this policy.

2. Reservation Confirmation

This policy applies after Blue X has confirmed a reservation. A request for availability is not a confirmed reservation until Blue X sends an express confirmation.

3. Guest Cancellations

Unless different terms are clearly disclosed before payment, a guest who cancels at least 48 hours before the scheduled experience may request a full refund of the amount paid for the experience, excluding any separately disclosed non-refundable third-party charges that Blue X is legally permitted to retain.

Cancellations received between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled experience may be rescheduled once, subject to availability, or may receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled experience are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where Blue X approves an exception.

4. Rescheduling

Eligible reservations may be rescheduled subject to availability. A guest should contact Blue X as soon as possible and provide the reservation name, confirmation number, destination, and requested new date/time.

A rescheduled experience may be subject to the price applicable to the new date, package, or service. Any price difference will be disclosed before the change is finalized.

Repeated rescheduling may be restricted where reasonably necessary to manage capacity and operations.

5. Weather and Marine Conditions

Guest safety comes first. Ocean and watersports activities may be delayed, modified, rescheduled, or canceled because of unsafe weather, sea conditions, lightning, high winds, visibility, government instructions, marine restrictions, or other safety conditions.

If Blue X cancels an experience because it cannot safely or lawfully operate, the guest will ordinarily be offered a rescheduled date or a refund for the affected Blue X experience, subject to applicable law and any disclosed third-party charges.

Weather decisions are made by Blue X or the authorized operating team. A guest's personal preference regarding otherwise safe weather conditions does not automatically qualify as a Blue X weather cancellation.

6. Blue X Operational Cancellations

If Blue X cancels a confirmed experience because of equipment, staffing, operational, legal, safety, or other circumstances within or affecting the operation, Blue X may offer a reasonable substitute, reschedule the experience, or refund the amount paid for the affected Blue X experience.

Blue X will not require a guest to accept a materially different substitute experience.

7. Late Arrivals

Guests should arrive at the time stated in the confirmation to allow for check-in, identification, safety briefing, waivers, equipment preparation, and departure.

Late arrival may reduce the activity time or result in the reservation being treated as a no-show when the delay prevents safe or practical operation. Blue X will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late guests when the schedule permits, but accommodation is not guaranteed.

8. No-Shows

A guest who does not appear for a confirmed reservation and does not provide timely notice may forfeit the amount paid, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

No-show treatment may also apply when a participant cannot participate because the participant fails to satisfy clearly disclosed eligibility, identification, sobriety, safety, or required-document conditions.

9. Group and Private Reservations

Private, group, corporate, birthday, event, hotel-partner, and customized reservations may have separate deposit, cancellation, minimum-spend, or rescheduling terms because capacity and resources may be reserved specifically for the group.

Any different group terms must be disclosed before the guest or organizer commits to payment.

10. Third-Party Services

Transportation, hotel services, photography, marina services, or other third-party products may be subject to separate cancellation or refund rules. Blue X will disclose material third-party terms when they form part of the transaction.

Blue X cannot promise refunds of amounts charged directly by independent third parties, except where Blue X is legally responsible or has expressly agreed otherwise.

11. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method when practicable. Processing time depends on the payment processor, card issuer, or financial institution.

Blue X will provide or maintain a record of the approved refund. Guests should allow the processing period communicated at the time the refund is issued.

12. Chargebacks and Billing Questions

Guests are encouraged to contact Blue X promptly regarding a billing concern so the reservations team can review the transaction and attempt to resolve legitimate issues.

Nothing in this policy limits a consumer's lawful rights with a card issuer, payment provider, or consumer-protection authority.

Destination-specific terms may be displayed during booking when required.

14. How to Request a Cancellation or Change
